Sistership is something to treasure

It's Sunday early afternoon and I am at Angel Wings Center in Gothenburg together with my Ukrainian friend and helper Oksana. She is also from Kyiv, just like me. I am trying to set a table as beautiful as I can, because we are expecting a visit.

We are making lunch for Ukrainian mothers, who came to Sweden as Ukrainian war refugees.

It's an early spring and still kind of chilly outside and a Chiken Soup and Tiramisu feels like a great lunch option.

Finally they arrive. So beautiful, so talanted, so warmhearted. They had a beautiful bouquet of pink tulips with them and a box of chocolates. They smile and are so happy for this possibility just to be together and have fellowship. They smile.. but in their eyes you can see so many stories and destinies, so many challenges and personal wars, besides the one that storms in their cities and villages.

Finally we sit down and eat and just talk. I listen and listen and pray in my heart they will feel heard and safe here at Angel Wings. Our conversation becomes deeper and I see tears in the eyes of many. I watch how they care about each other and I see that they sincerely wish each other well.

I also wish them well... afterall that's why we are here.

I am leading everyone into prayer for all our children and families. We do not forget to say what we are thankfullfor. There's still so much to be thankful for.

Suddenly one of these beautiful women says: "For the first time after the start of this war I feel real peace"...

Wow... tears are running from my eyes now. I am watchin a miracle. A miracle of Power of Sistership - a gift to treasure.

Sincerely, Ania (Anna of Angel Wings)
